Here, you can see what a prototype of that Bobble Head Modern Sonic looked like. It did end up getting made, but the base was different. Look at the label here, it has a modification of the classic Sonic logo. The red "The Hedgehog" lettering had to be changed from angled to streight, so that it would fit on the thin base.
