Here are "Energy Pair Figures". They come in 2 packs. Sonic comes with Amy / blue energy & Knuckles comes with Tails / red energy. The energy is a semi-transparent tinted plastic with sort of open ends that fits on/around the figures' hands. These are probably 3 inch scale & have limited articulation.
